Also, you can quickly scroll through any long page (this one included) just by using your Page Up/Down keys
instead of your Mouse (just like you would on your Word Processing, Spreadsheet,

(Please note: Since most of
the pages here [and anywhere else] are long, it's recommended that you get into
the habit of multitasking. E.G.: open a 2nd browser [of the one you're using
now] or a different one; then use Alt+TAB to switch between them and other open
applications [Hold the Alt key and tap TAB several times to select the open
application]. For Mac and other non-Windows users, use the appropriate keystroke
equivalent. Use the other browser for downloading any necessary things like
software upgrades and drivers, or anything else you want to get from the
appropriate FTP sites, then switch back to your original browser and read thru
the page, while letting the computer get the file you "really really" want, thus
making efficient use of your Net time [or, if the page is loading up, use the
other one to do a quick search, or write some e-mail]. You may also take
advantage of using multimedia streaming software pgms. such as RealPlayer or
Microsoft Windows Media Player; just pick any live web event, play it [with the
volume off], then pause/stop when you're ready to click the next link, and play
it again once the next page has been downloaded for reading. Don't open too many
programs [including multiple FTP downloading], or your computer may
freeze/crash. Remember, the Internet is a simple extension of the use of your
personal computer. Many of the same Windows tricks and tips apply, only that
there are more secrets for you to discover.)
